Project 1 Teaching Diploma: Strengthening capacity building in the field of teachers’ training, reorienting policies and programs In education, the project aims at the following: • Delivering in-service upgrading to 150 UNRWA teachers • Empowering UNRWA teachers to skill training and design to enable them to integrate more effectively into UNRWA schools in Lebanon. Project 2 Terms of Reference Provision of Regular and Short Term English Courses for STC Trainees: LIU provided English courses for 579students over approximately 3 months, classes ranging from 8 students to 26 students in accordance with their chosen course. The allocation of students were: Regular English courses for 200 students. Regular course classes span from 7:30 to 14:30, and English classes were allocated within these hours for the regular course. LIU provided 32 hours of English lessons in total for the Regular courses. - Short term English courses for 300 students. Short term course classes span from 12:50 to 16:40, and English classes for short term courses will be allocated within these hours. LIU provided 16 hours of English lessons in total for the Short-term courses. Project 3 Technical Report For Capacity Building for Educational Project Management: LIU intends to provide customized strategic and operational capacity building modular courses and instructional materials in alignment with the UNRWA values and principles in general, and the Education Program vision and Reform Initiatives in particular. The courses include the universal trends of educational management and project cycle management. Project 4 Strengthening Stress Management Capabilities of UNRWA Staff: Learn to recognize Signs and Sources of Stress and cumulative stress; LIU embedded within its interactive training activities group counselling sessions to help the trainees to recognize and identify the signs and sources of accumulated stress and how to manage and respond to the sources of stress and anger. Project 5 Pedagogical Capacity Building for Siblin Training Centre “STC” Instructors: To deliver TD Courses to take place over a period of three years. Themes to be agreed with STC management and based on training need assessment results. Courses to be customized to UNRWA Training Centre Context.
