Project 1-SoED Lebanese International University (LIU) and ILETS The International English Language Testing System: The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world’s most popular English language proficiency test for higher education and global migration, with over 3 million tests taken in the last year. IELTS assesses all of English skills — reading, writing, listening and speaking, and is designed to reflect how uses English at study, at work. Project 2 SoED HOPES/British Council (HOPES is implemented by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in collaboration with its partners from British Council, Campus France and EP-Nuffic - Higher and Further Education Opportunities and Perspectives for Syrians): Students will benefited fit from university-based English and study skills courses. The courses consisted of 100 hours of face to face classes with a British Council trained local teacher, blended with a 40-hour online British Council course.
