Teacher Training Workshop for Global Education Schools: Embracing Innovative Teaching for the Modern Classroom

On January 3, 2025, AKI hosted an impactful Teacher Training Workshop titled "Innovative Teaching for the Modern Classroom: Strategies, Flipped Learning, and Effective Assessments." The workshop brought together 36 dedicated Heads of Departments and teachers from 9 schools, all eager to enhance their teaching techniques. During the 7-hour event, educators delved into topics such as Flipped Learning, Innovative Education Strategies for K-12, and Mastering Assessments with Tables of Specifications. This collaborative session aimed to redefine classroom experiences and empower teachers with cutting-edge strategies to foster effective learning environments.

The Erasmus + MED2IaH national conference was held at the Lebanese International University on March 21st, 2023. Throughout the conference both panel discussions and presentations held by leading educators and representatives focused on raising awareness with regards to internationalization at home through capacity building, intercultural skills, virtual mobility and campus diversity within a Lebanese context.

Presenting Projects IRHAL and MOUSALAHA at the UNIMED General Assembly 2022: Shaping the Mediterranean From Cooperation to Integration with UNIMED Director and Italian Ambassador to Jordan on the panel. Project MOUSALAHA is geared at assessing Syrian Higher Education & LIU will be the coordinator in collaborative with UNIMED and sponsored by the Italian foreign Ministry.
The 2022 UNIMED General Assembly was held on June 22 and 23 in Jordan, organised by UNIMED in collaboration with the University of Jordan in Amman.
The conference brought about 200 people registered to this event: journalists, professionals, academicians and policy makers. Participant from Europe, as well as MENA countries. The event has been granted with the European Commissioner Ms Mariya Gabriel, European Parliament, Union for the Mediterranean and the University of Jordan patronage.
